The Good Neighbor Program, Inc. was created from a simple calling — to serve our neighbors in need. Inspired by President George W. Bush’s words, “Serve the Nation beginning with your neighbor,” and by the timeless truth of Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,” the program reminds us that compassion begins at home.

The needs within our community are more than numbers — they are people, and many are children. When we open our eyes and hearts a little wider, we discover countless ways to make a difference. The Good Neighbor Program exists to extend a supportive hand — one neighbor, one act, one moment at a time.

As the geese fly farther together than alone, so do we when we lift one another up. Teaming together to make a difference has always been, and will always remain, the heart of The Good Neighbor Program.
